Laurel, NE — Security Bank is pleased to announce that Ben Landgren has joined our team as a Loan Officer.

Ben joined Security Bank in February, bringing with him several years of banking experience. Ben most recently was a Credit Analyst at First State Bank in Lincoln.  Ben began his career while in college as an Intern at First State Bank Nebraska, he also served as a Mortgage Lending & Operations Intern at West Gate Bank. Through these roles, he developed a strong foundation in lending and a practical, customer-first approach.

Originally from Lincoln, Ben has close ties to the Laurel area through time spent visiting his grandparents Joan Adkins and the late Rick Adkins.  Joining Security Bank is especially meaningful to him, as it allows him to carry on the family legacy that helped shape the bank and its long-standing commitment to community banking. Ben is proud to be part of the next generation while upholding the same values that have guided Security Bank for years.

Ben is a Norris High School graduate (Class of 2022) and will finish his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Agribusiness in May.  His background and education make him a great fit to work with agricultural producers, local businesses, and individuals throughout our communities.

Outside of work, Ben enjoys hunting, fishing, Husker sports, golf, and spending time with family and friends.

We’re proud to welcome Ben to Security Bank and look forward to the relationships he’ll build with our customers and communities. Be sure to welcome him to our team!
