Security Bank Recognizes Matt Dresden for 25 Years as a Financial Advisor

Hartington, Neb. — Matt Dresden is celebrating 25 years as a financial and insurance advisor, marking a career built on service, trusted relationships, and a strong commitment to the communities he serves.

Dresden began his career as an independent advisor in May 2001, working with individuals, families, farmers, and business owners to navigate insurance, investment, and planning decisions. In June 2022, he joined Security Bank to form their investment department —Security Wealth Strategies, where he continues his work as an advisor while becoming part of the bank’s local team.

Throughout his career, Dresden has focused on helping clients protect what they’ve built and plan for the future — often collaborating with bankers, accountants, and legal professionals to support business transitions, succession planning, and unexpected life events.

Dresden is actively involved in the Hartington community, formally serving on the Holy Trinity Finance Board, the Northeast Community College Foundation Board and its Finance Committee, as well as the Hartington Chamber of Commerce Board and the Hartington Economic Development Board.

A graduate of Northeast Community College, where he earned an associate degree in accounting, Dresden values education, collaboration, and service. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, pickleball, tennis, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
