Coleridge, NE —October 30, 2025– Security Bank is proud to recognize and celebrate the dedicated career of Gail Milander, who is retiring after 27 years of service to the Coleridge community and Security Bank family.

Gail began her banking career with Coleridge National Bank on September 18, 1998. Over the years, she served in multiple roles, beginning as an Administrative Loan Assistant, and later contributing to compliance and auditing, demonstrating adaptability and commitment through the ever-changing landscape of community banking.

Through mergers and growth, including the transition to Security National Bank in 2005 and the name change to Security Bank in 2011, Gail remained a constant source of professionalism, kindness, and dedication. Her longevity and leadership have made a lasting impression on customers and coworkers alike.

“Banking has evolved so much over the years with automation and technology,” Milander shared. “But what hasn’t changed is the value of relationships. The friendships I’ve built with customers and coworkers at all five branches will always be what I treasure most.”

Before her banking career, Gail worked as a hairdresser and also gained experience in insurance, farming, and advertising sales. Her wide-ranging background gave her a unique ability to connect with people and understand their needs, an approach that made her a trusted and familiar face to many in the Coleridge area.

Outside the bank, Gail has been deeply involved in the community. She has served on the Pilgrim Congregation UCC Church, was a member of the Coleridge Rescue Squad for more than 20 years and continues to serve on the Coleridge Christians Caring Committee and the Coleridge Rural Fire Board.

A lifelong resident of the area, she is a 1980 graduate of Cedar Catholic High School and the proud mother of two children, Amanda Cook of Wayne, NE, and Isaac Holcomb of Blair, NE. She also has four grandchildren, with whom she loves spending time. In her free moments, she enjoys camping, traveling, bicycling, playing cards, and reading.

Security Bank extends its heartfelt gratitude to Gail Milander for her many years of service, friendship, and dedication. Her commitment to customers and her community has left a lasting impression on the Security Bank family.

Please join us in congratulating Gail on her retirement and wishing her the very best in this next chapter of life.
