Lisa Quist | Central Regional VP Nationwide's Land As Your Legacy

Central Regional Vice President for Nationwide’s Land As Your Legacy® program, a division of the Nationwide Retirement Institute®. Along with her team in Ohio, Lisa helps farmers, ranchers and other Ag business owners build transition plans with the goal of keeping their family’s operation intact and suited to transition to the next generation.

Lisa is passionate about this work, as the topic hits close to home for her. She ran a successful cash crop farm in rural Minnesota with her husband for 12 years. In 2012, they made the heartbreaking decision to sell out when faced with the reality that the senior generation was unwilling to do any transition planning beyond an “I love you” will for her husband’s 8 non farming siblings and 1 half sibling. Lisa and her husband were the seventh generation to run that family farm. After the auction, Lisa worked at State Farm and Compeer Financial before starting her career at Nationwide.

Debunking the Myth: Using an agent for Marketplace Enrollment

Some believe that using an agent to enroll in Marketplace healthcare plans can be more expensive. Contrary to this misconception, utilizing the services of an agent does not come at any additional cost to you. In fact, agents are trained to help you navigate the complexities of the healthcare Marketplace effectively and efficiently, often saving you both time and money.

So, don't let the misconception deter you from seeking professional guidance. Utilizing an agent can lead to better informed decisions and can save you money in the long run.
