Brent Hogan

Chief Information Officer

Brent began his career with Security Bank as the Information Systems Engineer in July of 2015.  He currently serves as the Chief Information Officer and is a member of the Executive Management Team.

Brent earned a degree in Industrial Distribution from the University of Nebraska in Kearney in 1998 and received an Information Technology Consultant Certificate from the University of South Dakota in 2014.  He is also currently enrolled in the Graduate School of Banking in Boulder Colorado.  Brent is based out of the Laurel branch but enjoys the opportunity to work with customers and employees from all the communities we serve. 

Brent and his wife Kamber live in rural Newcastle where they raise their three kids Brailyn, Broderick, and Brielle.  He is actively involved with the Newcastle Rural Fire Board and the American Legion Post 62.  In his spare time Brent enjoys spending time outdoors and attending his children’s activities.
