Duane Hoesing

Loan Officer

Duane has been with Security Bank as a loan officer since January, 2011. He came to Security Bank with 13 years of banking experience in agricultural and commercial lending.

After high school graduation, Duane joined the Marines and served in Vietnam in 1969 (infantry). He graduated from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, in 1974 with a degree in agriculture, and completed a Master's degree in 1977. He taught high school and college agricultural courses for 23 years prior to his banking career.

During his teaching and banking careers, Duane and his wife, Judy, operated a livestock and grain farm near Menominee, Nebraska where he grew up. Duane and Judy were married for over 42 years prior to her death in February of 2013 from cancer. They have three sons: Fr. Paul (Archdiocese of Omaha priest), Matthew and his wife Lacey and their 4 children (Norfolk),  and Jonathan and his wife Kayla and their three children (Pierce).  In his free time Duane enjoys gardening, canning food for the family, and working on the farm.

Since April of 2017, Duane has been working for Security Bank on a part time basis.
